Effective as of April 1, 2026

1. Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the contractual relationship between Marie Mouton – Les Maisons de Mons (hereinafter “the Service Provider”) and any individual or legal entity making a reservation (hereinafter “the Customer”).

These Terms and Conditions apply to all reservations made through the website www.maisons-mons.com or any other booking channel for all services offered:

  • Vacation rentals of furnished tourist accommodations,
  • Bed-and-breakfast accommodations,
  • Vacations,
  • Language and immersion programs (accommodation combined with educational or cultural activities).

2. Nature of the services

The services offered constitute temporary lodging services governed by the Tourism Code and, where applicable, the regulations governing bed-and-breakfast accommodations.

Depending on the package, stays may include:

  • Vacation rental accommodations,
  • Breakfast (at a bed-and-breakfast), in a vacation rental,
  • Tourist activities,
  • Language or cultural activities (immersion programs, classes, workshops, or language exchanges).

The services are strictly limited to temporary use and may not be used as a primary residence.

3. Description of accommodations and services

Accommodations (furnished vacation rentals or bed-and-breakfasts) are intended for transient guests.

The descriptions (photos, square footage, amenities, capacity, and included services) are provided for informational purposes only and are subject to change without affecting the essential quality of the booked service.

4. Reservation

The reservation becomes firm and final after:

  • Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions,
  • Payment for the stay and/or services related to activities,
  • Written confirmation from the Service Provider (via email or the booking platform).

The Service Provider reserves the right to refuse any reservation in the event of unavailability, non-compliance with the terms of service, or breach of the contractual terms.

They include only the services explicitly listed in the booked package.

Any applicable tourist taxes are charged as an additional fee and are the responsibility of the Customer.

6. Payment Terms

Payment can be made by credit card, bank transfer, or any other method offered at the time of booking.

The total amount is due upon confirmation of the reservation, unless otherwise specified.

The reservation is not considered final until full payment has been received.

Access to the service will not be granted in the event of non-payment.

7. Security deposit

A security deposit is required before entering the premises.

The amount may be refunded or held, depending on the payment method used and the terms specified at the time of booking.

It will be refunded after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property, minus any costs for damage, missing items, or repairs; as well as additional cleaning fees if the accommodation is not returned in satisfactory condition.

8. Arrival and Departure

Unless the Service Provider has given prior written consent:

  • Check-in: from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Any delays or exceeding of scheduled times may result in additional charges or rescheduling of access.

9. Cancellation

All reservations are final and non-refundable.

No refunds will be issued in the event of cancellation, regardless of the reason.

In the event of a no-show, early departure, or shortened stay, the full amount remains due.
